Guess who is going to the super bowl? (8th grade super bowl)

Gavin is stoked his team won Lone Peak today in the freezing

snowy, windy cold weather. It was a great game, score was close

though out the whole game. Vikings were up by one starting the 

2nd half. It stayed that way until there was  just a little over a 

minute left in the 4th quarter and we scored a touchdown. We are so 

proud of Gavin and all his hard work this year. Way to go #32 you 

are AWESOME!!!! The top picture is Gavin recovering a fumble from 

a kick off return that his teammate touched.The bottom picture was 

not taken today. But is such a great touchdown catch of his.

 

          HALLOWEEN 2011                 

Carving our home grown pumpkins. The kids 

had been begging us to carve pumpkins since 

the second week in October. We knocked it out 

October 30 so they would not rot before Halloween

night. We had a lot of fun messing around together.

 Connor was a zombie football player for Halloween. He was 

determined to wear an old mouth guard of Gavin's and ya

know that is what a Zombie would do. GROSS!!!

Hannah was a Doctor with her friend Kelsey. They were so cute.

with planking??? We do have a lot of fun

Connor took 2nd place in the passing competition for flag football

this year. His team went undefeated needless to say he had a really

good and fun year playing flag football!!

                                                     
           FALL BREAK

                             

                            

                   

We spent a day at Frightmares at Lagoon. Fun rides, 

                    haunted houses, good ice cream, and fun family memories.                                 

 The next day we went to Park City for the night. Darren

and the boys woke up early to go hunting in kamas while

the girls slept in then attempted to go shopping. The outlets

were crazy busy and the only buck the guys saw was 50 yards 

from our hotel room as they were leaving at 5:00 a.m. Kayla did

try on a lovely hat though!!! We had fun hanging out together..

                                           

                                     

     
                           

  

With only a few weeks left in the summer we wanted to be outside 

in the sun so went to the most amazing place up in the beautiful 

mountains of Alpine. It is called SLIDING ROCK, a natural spring that 

you slide down like a huge water slide. The water is clear as can be but

freezing cold.  

 

Gavin was not so sure about going down this slide but once he tried it 

he got way into it as you can see from this picture. It has been fun seeing 

him sport his cool teenage attitude, we love spending time with our G-man,

he is constantly trying to makes us smile on a daily basis.

 

WOW look at that mouth she was screaming with delight, right?

Kayla is always the one to let us know how much fun she is or not 

having. Fortunately she was having fun and has been back three 

times to sliding rock since we first went.  We love being able to spend 

time with this fun loving girl.

Even after watching the others go down Hannah looks terrified I 

am sure the cold cold water had something to do with it. She did 

like going down though and kept hiking back up to go again and 

again. Pretty sure the fact she loves being in the water had nothing 

to do with her having to show the others she could do this. We love 

the confidence she has gained from being on swim team. She beams 

when swimming or water is mentioned. Love seeing her in her

comfort zone, she is a happy girl!!!

     These two have way too much fun. It is great to see 

                                           and be a part of!! We love having Kinzie around.                                                                

                                         Here Connor is enjoying watching everyone go down the
                                         slide. He did go down the slide with Darren and liked it
                                         but was freezing cold so he decided to sit in the sun. He
                                         is always trying to keep up with the older kids. It is fun
                                         to watch him try just about anything they do!!!

Makayla played high school tennis this year. She did 

    awesome! It was fun to watch her in the different tennis 

matches and see her love for tennis as she competed.

She has worked really hard and you can tell we are so 

proud of her.

Football season is here again and Gavin is loving every minute 

of it. His favorite thing about football this year is playing safety on 

defense. His team is doing really good this year. I hear the defensive 

coach is just an amazing guy and Gavin loves that his Dad happens 

to be that guy, we are so blessed to have a dad that gives so much time 

to the kids. It is so fun to watch Gavin play in the football games, he 

really is playing hard and having a ton of fun with his buddies!

Hannah is swimming, swimming, and swimming. She had a 

three week break in August. She really enjoys going to practice

for an hour and a half four days a week, crazy girl!! We love seeing 

her swim at meets and being able to cheer her on, she is such an

amazing swimmer!!!

Look at that baseball player, he is a natural! Connor loved playing 

baseball this year, he made the all star team and had fun playing in 

the tournament. He gets so excited whenever he has a game so we 

can all go cheer him on, it is so fun to see our little guy growing up.

He wants to be just like his big brother.
